The Institute of Refractories Engineers (IRE) Australasian Branch will hold its 13th biennial conference and celebrate 25 years in Australia in Sydney on 18th–19th October 2026. Taking place at The Novotel, Sydney Darling Harbour, 100 Murray Street, Darling Harbour, NSW, Australia, the conference will bring together refractory professionals, suppliers, manufacturers and industry experts for two days of technical presentations, discussion and networking.
Technical Programme Now Available
The Technical Programme has now been created, providing delegates with a detailed overview of the conference sessions and presentations.
The programme sets out the timings, session chairs, presenting companies, technical subjects and speakers, enabling delegates to plan their time at the conference and see the range of expertise and topics that will be covered across the two days. Under the theme “Refractory Innovation Driving Industrial Efficiency”, the technical sessions will provide an opportunity to hear from industry specialists and learn about developments, technologies and practical experience from across the refractory sector.
