Leandro Colombo
Alkegen Global Market Sales Manager – Steel & Foundry

Leandro graduated from the Federal University of Sao Carlos in 2008 with a degree in Materials Engineering. Following an internship at Alcoa, Leandro became a research Engineer at Nanox Tecnologia S/A, he joing Alkegen in 2010 with responsibilities for the steel market, his career has progressed over the last 14 years and he was recently promoted to Global Sales Manager for Steel and Foundry.

Leandro will present on one of his areas of expertise which is the construction of lip rings on steel ladles. Over the last few years and together with major steel manufacturers Leandro has helped to develop a lip ring construction which last 5-10 times longer than a conventional construction and can be installed in a matter of hours by a small team.

Devran Tulunay
Sales Manager for Turkey, UK, Greece, Israel and Turkic Countries

Metallurgical and Materials Engineer/ Graduated Istanbul University in 2007, working in high temperature insulation market for 15+ years, 12 of which spent in Unifrax/Alkegen. Specialized in Iron and Steel applications both in Blast furnace and EAF insulation applications. Living in Istanbul Turkey with his wife and 2 daughters, active triathlete with 4 times Ironman 70.3 finish and 2 times marathon finish.

Devran is experienced in Steel applications such as ladle back up insulation, ladle cover insulation, tundish cover applications, reheating furnaces and galvanizing lines. Devran will present on Ladle backup insulation, tundish insulation and ladle tundish covers within the current expectation of CO emissions and energy saving.
